By its very definition Love is a feeling and as such we cannot always control who we love.
One of the many reasons I adore capturing weddings is the way I can see the love between two people and how that love can beat all sorts of barriers down. Love does not know any limitations and does not only reserve it’s self for the young.
What I loved about Sheryl and David is that they were like two peas in a pod. If I had not of known otherwise I would of thought they had been married for years. I loved that their wedding at the wonderful Friern Manor was all about family and good friends. Family had come from as far as Australia to share in the occasion.
As always Sarah and the Friern Manor team ensured that the day went perfectly and the food and service was utter perfection. The venue was draped in the finest flowers from my favourite florist Caroline at the Orchidroom Wedding Flowers, it was truly a dream team to work with, even the registrar’s were in fine form!
Sheryl father was able to walk her down the isle and accompanied by her sister, daughter, granddaughter, niece, friend and David’s granddaughter Mia. My favourite image is the one of David smiling as Sheryl walks towards him down the isle. A true happiness and love radiates from him.
I have shared just a few of the images that myself and my wonderful assistant Jayne took for Sheryl and David.
