The first thing that struck me when I met Neil and Vicki was that they loved to laugh, and did so frequently. They say that laughter is the best medicine and if that is the case then I doubt Vicki and Neil will ever get ill. I loved their relaxed and joys approach to their wedding and life in general.
From the very start of the day I knew they were going to have a lot of fun and no rain was going to dampen their spirits. It was also a great pleasure to work with Master of Ceremonies and DJ extraordinaire Ian Stewart. No one gets the party going quite like Ian and if you want to make sure everyone has fun and do not want the formal Master of Ceremonies then I would highly recommend Ian.
The best testimonial I can give for Ian is that he did my wedding and my husband had never danced and does not dance, well that night Ian had him on the dance floor the whole night! We had a blast.
But I digress back to Vicki and Neil! Pontlands Park Hotel is the perfect intimate venue for a family wedding, with plenty of space for the children and shelter to hide from the rain we still managed to use some of the beautiful interior for photographs.
We did between rain showers manage to get out into the grounds and take in some of the lovely gardens. With such a relaxed and easy going couple as Vicki and Neil it was easy to capture them laughing and enjoying themselves. I frequently caught a cheeky grin from Vicki, I can certainly see where her girls get it from!
I thought I would share just a few of the wonderful images I captured on their special day. If you are getting married at Pontlands Park Hotel I would love to hear from you or if you attended Neil and Vicki’s day then I would love to hear from you too!
