I had the pleasure of capturing Michelle & Nick’s wedding at the beautiful Reid Rooms Estate just down the road from me in sunny Writtle.
With all my kit I set off in the morning to join the ladies getting ready in the coach house. When I initially walked in it was calm and serene and Michelle was downstairs with just the make-up artist. It was so quiet I actually wondered for a second if I had come to the wrong place. I soon found all the girls upstairs with the hairdresser and the buzz of excitement in the air.
My trusty assistant Jayne joined me a little later as the Nick and the boys came to finish setting up and put the final touches to their look. I think they all looked pretty handsome in their grey suits, and I know they certainly had a good laugh on a number of occasions.
Michelle looked absolutely elegant in her own and cathedral veil, and the flowers that the amazing Caroline of the Orchid Rooms created for Michelle really finished off the look beautifully. Caroline even surprised Michelle with managing to procure some peonies for her bouquet.
With an afternoon tea provided by Premier Crew Hospitality after the small but intimate ceremony we had plenty of time to capture some beautiful images around the Reid Rooms Estate.
Michelle & Nick has surprised guests with a choreographed dance for their first dance, a real treat for all. Piano DJ had them all dancing on the dance floor in no time and when Jayne and myself departed the dancing was in full swing.
I have attached a few of the images that Jayne and I took on the day, if you are getting married at the Reid Rooms and are interested in finding out more about our services please do get in touch.
